Membership Benefits and Eligibility

Membership Benefits Include:

  • Annual Membership Directory. All members receive the annual directory of individual members, institutions, and organizations of WACAC, along with email addresses, phone and fax numbers, and a special section devoted to “on-line” maps indentifying the location of high schools across the state. The directory also serves as an historical record of WACAC and further includes the Association's Bylaws.
  • Expert List Access.  Looking for a second opinion on an issue or starting up a new program or event?  Consult the expert list.  The list of individuals features a variety of experts from both the high school and college sides of admission.
  • Annual Conference.  Attend the annual WACAC Conference to network with other professionals and gain insight on current admission related topics.
  • Workshops and Seminars.  WACAC hosts a variety of workshops and seminars each year.  Receive invites to these events, which are hosted throughout the state.
  • Student Scholarships.  Each year WACAC awards several high school students scholarships for post-secondary education.  To receive the scholarship, high school students must attend a WACAC member school and then continue on their education at a WACAC member institution.
  • E-mail List Serve.  Learn about job openings, upcoming events or post a problem to other colleagues.
  • Newsletter.  Receive The Clarion, WACAC’s newsletter in fall, winter and spring.  The newsletter includes admission related updates, event announcements and feature articles.
