Your students are constantly online. And they're using various online
resources to aid them in their college search. This workshop will
explore those resources and how you and your students can best utilize
them in making the right college choice. Topics will include the
following: Facebook, Twitter, Flickr, YouTube, college websites, and
other online resources.

Counseling the College Bound Student Graduate Course

The Professional Development Committee of the Wisconsin Association of College Admission Counseling (WACAC)is pleased to announce the development of a three credit graduate level course for school counselors.

College Seminar Tour

The WACAC College Seminar Tour gives secondary school counselors the opportunity to learn more about colleges and universities around the state of Wisconsin , while offering three graduate credits toward the renewal of your state license. Schools visited in 2010 include select Wisconsin and Illinois schools.

New Counselor Institute

Join us for three days of fun, in August each year, excitement and interaction with your fellow Admission Professionals. New Counselor Institute (NCI) is an intense 3-day orientation workshop for college admission professionals with less than one year of admission experience. Attendees learn basics about admission counseling and have an opportunity to network with colleagues. NCI is a chance for you to build relationships with peers and mentors in Admission. The information is all geared towards your new career. Don't miss this professional development opportunity.

5th Annual WACAC Summer Outing

The summer outing is a fun event to celebrate the conclusion of the 09-10 academic year. Keeping with a recently started tradition, all attendees will receive a t-shirt specially designed for the event! Additionally, seats will be along the 1st base side. If you’ve joined us in years past, you know that we’ve gotten more than our fair share of sun sitting along the 3rd base side!
