A Note from the WACAC President

Good afternoon,

We are deeply saddened to inform you that Karen Siegel, an Associate Director of Admissions at Mount Mary College, lost her battle with cancer at the age of 47 yesterday morning, September 10, 2012.

Karen joyously served Mount Mary College since 1987 as an admissions professional. Please take a moment to honor her memory, and reflect on the lives she touched over the last 25 years.

Funeral arrangements are pending and I will share what I learn.

Sincerely,

Adele C. Brumfield
WACAC President

Milwaukee Goes to College Week: Oct 3-9

Tom Barrett, May of the City of Milwaukee, declared Oct 3-9 "Milwaukee Goes to College Week." The week culminates on Oct 9 with the National College Fair in Milwaukee. The City of Milwaukee recognizes the National Association for College Admission Counseling's efforts to assist students with decisions about their postsecondary education. "Milwaukee Goes to College Week" demonstrates the city's commitment to increasing educational opportunities for the city's youth and will inspire area students to start the college search and selection process.
