The 2007 WACAC Annual Conference will be held May 17-18, 2007 at the Regency Suites in Green Bay, WI. 

The theme for this year's conference is "It's the Little Things..."

College Counseling:  A Workshop for School Counselors

College counseling is requiring more time from high school counselors given its current competitive nature.  Unfortunately, most of our training programs don't include any coursework on college counseling.  Please join us for an opportunity to learn and share some tips and tricks to make you job easier and your counseling more effective.

This pre-conference workshop is on Thursday, May 17th from 10:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 9:45 a.m.  It is open to all high school counselors, includes lunch and is FREE of charge!

Conference Session Proposals

The WACAC Conference Program Committee is still looking for session proposals for the 2007 WACAC Annual Conference.

Session topics can include:  professional development, testing, financial aid, athletics, government relations, alumni networking, professional/personal rejuvenation, diversity, or any topics relating to “the little things” that make big differences in our profession.

Please submit a session proposal including the following:

  a. Session Title

  b. Presenter(s) (Name, Title, Contact Information)

  c. Brief Description of Session

  d. Target Audience (High School Guidance Counselors,   

      College Admission professionals, Both)

  e. AV Needs (Are you able to supply your own AV equipment? 

      If not, please let us know.)

  f. Moderator Needs (Would you like a moderator to

     introduce you and your session?)
